#MidWeekNickle Week.15 – your social links


Sweden is the sixth most progressive social progressive country in the world, Facebook intend to enlarge the pictures of the right columned ads while Twitter is playing with emojis. This and much more in the #MidWeekNickle dated week 15.


Like the upcoming Japanese social platform Line Twitter tries to find their connection to emojis.

The average U.S. user spent an average of 2 hours and 42 minutes per day on mobile devices in the first three months of this year, according to new data from Flurry, an app analytics service. Facebook and Instagram, which it acquired in 2012, accounted for 17% of that time.

Have you ever noticed the sidebar ads on the right side? Probably not. I think I only pushed an right columned ad. Now Facebook intend to enlarge those pictures which just might help.


Visits from YouTube, Google+, and LinkedIn are just the greatest: the highest quality web traffic you can get according to a recent study. But is it the same in Sweden?

Twitter are making pictures more social. You can now tag up to 10 people per picture.

New service tracks the most popular music on Twitter. Its a joint effort between Twitter and Billboard.

Its well known that Twitter don´t drive great conversions. A study shows that successful brands first of all are on Twitter for creating brand awareness.

Social media is crafted by experimentation. There is no real right and wrong. What works for one brand can be destructive for an another. But never forget that its people your interacting with and they want to connect with people, not only the brand. Don´t forget to humanize your brand!
